I read the story for this guy a while back. The college that accepted him has a specific program for people with Down Syndrome that helps them learn the skills they’ll need to hold down a job and live independently.

His dream was to go to college, and not only do schools like this make it possible, but they’re going to give him opportunities that just didn’t exist for people with DS 20, 30 years ago.

As someone who works with kids with special needs & someone who had an uncle with down syndrome this really affected me. This is so great
